Dimension Films announced today that in production is a film about an unlikely basketball team surviving in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. The film stars Lil Wayne and Bow Wow, opposite Academy Award-winner Forrest Whitaker, who plays the team’s coach.
Titled Hurricane Season, the film is adapted from the true life story of coach Al Collins. Release date and the roles of the two rappers have yet to be revealed.
